Welcome to Self Defense for Women NOW! with Liza Cooper
By Liza Cooper | October 4, 2009
My name is Liza Cooper and I teach women I teach women practical self defense strategies and tips to help us get in touch with our power.
Even though we live in a dangerous world, I believe that women have a right to safety and personal security. No woman or girl deserves to be victimized. Ever! And every woman and girl has the right to fight back.
I became interested in this subject because I, like so many women, have experienced violence and I didn’t want to be a victim.
Self defense for women is so much more than knowing how to administer a good groin kick. In fact the most effective self defense techniques have nothing to do with fighting at all – they are about preventing attacks in the first place by preventing you from getting into harm’s way.
I want to share what I’ve learned and the best advice out there. Thanks for being here. I invite you to follow me on Twitter–I go by NoNonsenseLiza–and I invite you to comment on any post that resonates with you and share your experiences here.
And most of all, I wish you safety and the freedom from to live the fullest life possible.
